Since a young age, I have always been interested in interior design. However, shortly after high school I started to grow interested in furniture "flipping" & refinishing. I figured they both go hand in hand, and I liked the idea of refinishing furniture to my own liking that would perfectly match the decor in my home. I decided to give it a shot when it was my city's turn for big trash removal day and picked up my first piece of furniture from the side of the road, a dresser. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing and just went for it! Don't worry - I take a much more thoughtful approach now. I am self-taught and have learned so much by thousands of videos, websites, photos, podcasts...you name it! Any form of research you can think of, I've probably done it all. Now this has grew to become a passion of mine. Whether it's participating in contests, designing a piece for a friend or family member, revamping a piece of my own or listing an item for someone else to enjoy and cherish. There's always the satisfaction once finishing, and all the extensive hard work immediately becomes worth it.
