This piece turned out exactly how I envisioned it (not without trial and error of course). I was able to bring this cabinet back to life, everything was revived. The wood is so "hydrated" now! Seeing the wood grain on furniture peek through the paint has become one of my favorite things. The new look definitely helped with the outdated feel of this style cabinet!
Fun Fact:
- This was my first time working with chalk paint as well as my first time using spray paint on a piece. The paint I was using (Kilz brand) came in both a can and a spray can version. I found it was easiest to use the spray can for certain areas, but most areas I used the paint roller technique with the regular can.
