It Was SO Worth It

When I saw this table I just knew I had to have it, it had so much potential. I wanted to keep some of the wood but envisioned a darker wood that was less yellow, so this was my first time staining wood to a different shade & I love the outcome! Not to mention that the light grey ended up being perfect for this dainty table! If I could go back and change just one thing, I would've replaced the lining in all three drawers to a black velvet.

Fun Facts:
- All three drawers were lined with velvet until I had an "oops" moment. I accidentally spilled some of the stain I was using for the drawer fronts into one of the side drawers. I tried my best to salvage it quickly, but there was no hope. I ripped up the lining and knew it'd look weird to have one side drawer lined with something else but not the other. I then ripped up the lining of the other side drawer.
- Since I had to replace the lining with something else. I decided to use wallpaper needed for a contest where you had to use something from a specific site. As a result, I was able to have another piece submitted for the contest and already had something on hand to use for the mistake. It was a win-win.
